HCVF
ESTABLISHMENT OF "HIGH CONSERVATION VALUE FOREST" (HCVF) ORFOREST AREA HAVING A HIGH VALUE OF CONSERVATION
This area is a: -
(a) forest areas containing significant concentrations of biodiversity values are high (eg is endemic, endangered species, protected species) globally, regionally or nationally; and / or forests on a large landscape level, in it containing the management unit, where most or all of the population is capable of living alone was found in a natural form and quantity based on the deployment that much;
(b) forest areas that have ecosystems that are rare, threatened or in danger;
(c) forest areas that provide basic amenities naturally in critical situations (eg watershed protection, erosion areas);
(d) forest areas that provide basic needs of local communities (eg subsistence, health) and / or critical to the cultural identity of local communities (areas of cultural, ecological, economic values or religious who are identified with the help local communities)
