On 24 February 2020 (Monday), a State Forestry Dialogue Session with Terengganu State Foresters was held at the Dewan Besar Terengganu State Forestry Department. The program was chaired by the Director, Mr. Muhamad Bin Abdullah. The main objective of the program is to inform some of the issues related to logging activities and to discuss issues arising among loggers.
On 28 January 2020 (Tuesday), the Terengganu State Forestry Department convened a Monthly Assembly and the Free Speech Free Speech Council at the Terengganu State Forestry Department. The tentative presentation at the Monthly Assembly was a congratulatory speech delivered by the Terengganu State Forestry Director, En. Muhamad bin Abdullah. While the tentative exercise at the Free Anti-Corruption Pledge Ceremony was to pronounce the Free State Corruption Pledge, led by the Terengganu State Forestry Director, Signing the Free Corruption Pledge by Senior Officers and the Handbook of “Rasuah Dihina, Integriti Dibina” by Head of Integrated Forestry Department Integrity Unit Malaysia to the Director of Terengganu State Forestry. Also present at the Free Speech Corruption Speech Council were Deputy Director of the Terengganu Anti-Corruption Commission, PPj Zainal bin Ayop and Head of Integrity Unit of the Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia, En. Jamaluddin bin Puteh.
From 14 until 16 January 2020, the Terengganu State Forestry Department organized the Dendrology Course No. 1/2020 at the Chalok Forestry Training Center, Setiu. A total of 33 participants were made up of Assistant Forestry Officers, Forest Supervisors and Public Assistants. The objective of this course is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Department's staff in making tree and leaf recognition especially for the leading log species.
